News from Scotland's Poet Laureate - Susan Powers
Susan helped the library celebrate 20 years in our glorious building with a special poetry reading on Saturday, June 7 as part of our "birthday" celebration.
Recently, Susan worked with a young library patron to get her work published in the Orenaug Mountain Poetry Journal. Stop by the library to see her published poem.
Susan has done readings at local libraries, attended a poetry seminar, and was awarded a two week writers residency fellowship in 2025.
