Quiet Corner Reads Author Event

The guest author for 2025 is 

Martha Hall Kelly

Join us for the Author Event on May 6th at 7 p.m. at the Mansion at Bald Hill in Woodstock

Tickets for the event are $20 and are on sale at the library.  Join us for our April 15th book discussion at 7 p.m. - We will be reading and discussing Martha Hall Kelly's latest book, The Golden Doves.

 This year marks 20 years of the library in this lovely building, courtesy of our generous benefactors, Andy & Anna Mae D'Elia.

Help us celebrate by donating $20 to our  Adopt-a-Book program.  We'll add your name to a book plate to be placed inside a new book purchased with the funds.

Stop by between 9 and noon for games, crafts, and refreshments.  

Weekly Story Time on Thursdays at 10 a.m.  

Join Miss Jenn for stories, games, crafts, and more.  No signup required.  
Please note:  Story Time will be cancelled when Scotland Elementary School has a snow day.

***Please note:  There is NO Story Time on April 17th.

Art Journaling
Friday, April 4 from 5-7 p.m.
Wednesday, April 16 from 5-7 p.m.

This program is open to teens and adults and we meet the 1st Friday & the 3rd Wednesday of each month.  Feel free to attend either of both sessions.  No experience necessary.  You will receive a journal on your first session to be used for future classes.

Building Club

Join us on Tuesday, April 25th at 4 p.m. for an Earth Day Building Club.  We'll be creating a toad or fairy house with items found in nature.  Bring your creativity and something to add to your structure.

All CT Reads selections for 2025 are on display at the library.  Stop by to read 1 or all.  We'll be discussing the adult selection - How to Read a Book by Monica Wood - in August.
And the young adult selection - Thieves' Gambit by Kayvion Lewis -  in September.
