Art Journaling

Friday, Nov. 7 from 5-7 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 5-7 p.m.

This program is open to teens and adults and we meet the 1st Friday & the 3rd Wednesday of each month.  Feel free to attend either of both sessions.  No experience necessary.  You will receive a journal on your first session to be used for future classes.

Memoir Writing:
10 things I learned from writing a memoir

New York Times editorial writer and local author, Maura Casey will share her tips for writing a memoir.  She will also talk about her own memoir, Saving Ellen.

Light refreshments will be served.  Copies of the book will be available to purchase.

Learn self-help strategies to reduce your risk of falling.
Learn how to get the help you need to stay independent.

This informative program will help you stay safe and independent.  But you must register as space is limited.  Call the library at 860-423-1492 to sign up.
Follow-up health Clinic will be held on Thursday, December 11th beginning at  9:30 a.m.

All CT Reads selections for 2025 are on display at the library.  Stop by to read 1 or all.  We'll be discussing the adult selection - How to Read a Book by Monica Wood - in August.
And the young adult selection - Thieves' Gambit by Kayvion Lewis -  in September.
